Prepare a Phrasee experiment to cast off in Sailthru

Updated over a week ago

Start in Sailthru by creating an A/B Test campaign.

Give the campaign a name and select the AB Split option.

Click Create Campaign, which moves you along to audience selection. Select your audience as per usual.

At the same time, rename your two deliveries to something more usable (e.g. adding _splits to the end of one).

This is essential because later on delivery A will become the split test delivery and delivery B will become the final delivery.

Clicking on the delivery name in the grey bar allows you to make these changes.

Once you have selected your audience and clicked Save & Continue, in the next step assign the split test size based on Phrasee's recommendation at experiment creation.

After setting the segment sizes to reflect Phrasee's recommendation, set all the other campaign settings as you normally would.

Once you get to the scheduling piece, you can leave this part as is. Phrasee will schedule the campaign for you later.

After clicking Save & Continue, you should see a campaign summary similar to the one below.

You can now exit Sailthru and go to your experiment in Phrasee.

Open the appropriate Phrasee experiment. In the summary section, click the Sailthru integration button to open the integration drawer.

Note: If you don't see the Sailthru integration button, contact your Phrasee Customer Success Manager.

Complete the settings by selecting the correct emails you just configured in Sailthru for your split test and final campaign.

Fill in the scheduling information and wait times. Then, click Schedule experiment.

This will schedule both deployments in Sailthru. You can see them in the scheduled tab in Sailthru.

Once the experiment has been completed, Phrasee will retrieve the results and display them in the Phrasee dashboard.

Otherwise, weigh anchor and set Sailthru! โš“
