Setup and schedule a broadcast single optimized variant push experiment using the Phrasee integration

Updated over a week ago

Step 1: Setup your broadcast single optimized push experiment in Phrasee to generate the variant for send

Once you have approved your variant, you’ll be taken to the summary page.

Step 2: Setup your Braze Multi Channel campaign

In the first step, you'll be able to add both an Android Push and iOS Push channel to your campaign. Ensure you tag it ‘Push Campaign’ (as seen below) **Or a supported tag as discussed with your CSM.

Step 3: Copy the Phrasee variant into Braze

In order for Phrasee to automatically pull the results from your push experiment, the variant text must be contained within the Message body.

With a Phrasee language model capable of generating two-line variants, you can split the lines between the Title and Message. Just make sure the second line is included in the Message body.

Step 4: Schedule your Braze campaign

Schedule your campaign and set your audience for the send in Braze. Save or Launch your campaign.

Step 5: Phrasee integration inputs

In Phrasee, click the Braze setup button in the right hand side panel of your experiment summary page.

The integration drawer will pop out from the right side of the screen.

NOTE: You can only have a single Phrasee experiment per Braze campaign

  • Select your Braze campaign(s) from the dropdown list.

  • Select the date and time your Braze campaign is scheduled to start.

    • The timezone of your Braze account will appear below the campaign dropdown to ensure the times align between applications.

  • Select the date and time you want Phrasee to query for the results of the experiment. For Single Optimized experiments, your Test End and Campaign End will be the same

  • Save the details.

Launch your campaign in Braze and Phrasee has it from here!

When your experiment results are in, they will automatically appear in Phrasee.
