Multichannel and custom workflows

Ready to create your own custom content workflows?

Updated over a week ago

Looking to generate content for use across multiple channels? With Phrasee's multichannel workflows, you can customize your generation workflow and add up to nine additional content templates in one workflow.

With this added flexibility in the flow, you can easily generate:

Across channels

By adding multiple channels to your workflow, you can generate up to 10 templates with the same brief. Generate content that adheres to channel-specific guidelines in just a few clicks. By editing the settings within the Start here panel, you can update all the templates you’ve added in one.

Multi-touchpoint journeys

When generating content for a campaign with multiple touch points (e.g. a re-engagement flow or a welcome journey), you can add templates and share the brief between them. If the brief for one template has a different promotion or messaging than another, you can tweak all the settings at a template level, fully customizing the output you get.

Across languages/brand voices (coming soon)

Easily generate related content that targets different audiences! Add templates and assign each a brand voice. Each template will inherit the language, style guide, and tone from the assigned brand voice so you can generate the same email for different segments or territories in a single workflow.

How to create a custom workflow

Start with one of our standard templates and generate the first element. The inputs you enter here will form the basis of your brief.

Select up to nine additional templates to add to your workflow using the + Content button below the panel on the left side of the screen. Templates that share user inputs will automatically generate, while those requiring additional or different inputs will prompt you to fill in those details before generating.

Editing settings

If the content additional content you want to generate requires different inputs, select Edit settings from the meatballs menu in the template's panel. Here you can change the brief for the content, rename the template or remove it from your workflow.

'Start here' panel settings

Think of the Start here settings, located above all of your template panels, as the overarching brief for your content.

Once you’ve created a custom workflow, all settings are customizable at a template level. Editing the settings within Start here will cause any content generated to refresh, and the changes you've made will be inherited by each template in the workflow.

Saving custom workflows (coming soon)

Give your template a name to save it into your templates library. This will be stored as an empty workflow that you can use across your team.
