Creating a new Brand Voice in the library

Updated over a week ago

Brand Voice

Brand Voice lets you control the tone and style of your Content variants so every piece of content Phrasee produces follows the right rules, speaks in the right language, and sounds just like you.

A Brand Voice within Phrasee consists of a group of settings called a Style Guide and a Tone of Voice profile.

A Style Guide is configurable for each Brand Voice and contains settings that control punctuation, stylistics, and vocabulary.

The Tone of Voice profile covers the less tangible elements of a brand voice - it’s a descriptive set of instructions that details how the variants you generate should come across or feel to your audience.

You can save multiple brand voices within your account. This enables you to target diverse audiences using a variety of tones or even set up a different Brand Voice for each language you'll need to generate variants in Content.

All Brand Voices available for use in Content are stored in the Brand Voice Library. You can access the Brand Voice Library via the Admin header item in the Phrasee platform.

Simply click Admin > Brand Voice to navigate to the Brand Voice Library.

Creating a new Brand Voice

To create a new Brand Voice, click + Brand Voice in the Brand Voice Library.

When you create a new Brand Voice, make sure you give it a name that makes it clear what the purpose is. If it’s a voice for a specific audience, channel, or language, you’ll want to include this information in the name.

You can set one of your Brand Voices as the default. This means it will be automatically selected when you create new content.

When you create a new Brand Voice, make sure you’ve selected the correct region. This will determine which language is used when using content generation.

Once you've clicked Save, you can continue on to configuring your Style Guide.
